Andy Crossland Biography

Andy Crossland Andy Crossland started his broadcasting career in 2001. He is an experienced Television and Radio News Anchor/Reporter with a passion for enterprising stories by being involved with people in the communities that he has lived in.

Since moving to Utah in early 2017, he has been doing television and radio news work in Park City, Utah for KPCW Radio and Park City TV. This has included working as a volunteer reporter and sports broadcaster.

Andy's last television news anchoring/reporting assignment was for News 27, a CNN affiliate in Temecula, California. Prior to News 27, he worked in San Diego, California, the 29th largest U.S. media market for major local television and radio stations. He was a radio news/traffic reporter, radio/television talk show producer/host, and assignment editor. While with Fox 6 News, he had the distinction of being part of the number one ten o'clock news team in the May 2005 Nielsen ratings. He has reported on scene at many large breaking news events including the 2003 Cedar Fire which at the time was the worst fire disaster in California history.

Andy's charitable endeavors have included serving on professional and non-profit boards of directors such as the Burn Institute, National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences-Southwest Chapter, and Society of Professional Journalists-San Diego Chapter. He has been an event host and large fundraiser to help burn victims and promote professional development for journalism professionals.

Currently he is a member of the Utah Headliners-Society of Professional Journalists.

Prior to his broadcasting career, he was a police officer and risk management professional.
